Eligibility Criteria

Admission to the 4-Year B.Tech in Electrical Engineering adheres to the statutory standards prescribed by AICTE and the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal.

Must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Council / Board.
Must have secured minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories: SC/ST/OBC/PwD) in Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject (Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational).
Must have secured pass marks in English in the 10+2 examination with minimum 30% marks.
Must qualify with a valid rank in WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) or JEE Main.
Must be at least 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year.
